Northeastern Aviation Corporation (dba NEAJETS) proudly announces its continued support of the “Music, Moments and Memories” program at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, located on the LIU Post campus in Farmingdale, NY.
Tom Dunn, Executive and Artistic Director of the Tilles Center, said, “We are proud to offer a variety of engaging, interactive programs in our ongoing commitment to learners of all ages. Thanks to our sponsor NEAJETS, there is no charge for these programs, which are designed for those with limited mobility, Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, as well as for their caregivers.”
Peter Montemurro, General Manager of Northeastern Aviation, added, “We believe in the importance of serving the communities where our employees live and work. Supporting programs like ‘Music, Moments and Memories’ allows us to make a meaningful impact, fostering connections and enhancing the quality of life for those who need it most.”
Research from the National Institute on Aging highlights the transformative power of participatory arts, stating, “Research on music, theater, dance, creative writing, and other participatory arts shows promise for improving older adults’ quality of life and well-being, from better cognitive function, memory, and self-esteem to reduced stress and increased social interaction.”
The Tilles Center’s 2025/2026 “Music, Moments and Memories” series will offer an enriching lineup, featuring concert events, music workshops, dance, theater classes, and more.
NEAJETS is honored to continue its support of these initiatives, which foster connection, creativity, and improved well-being within the community.
